Fortitude Boxing's Conor Wallace to Face Ben Whittaker in IBF Light Heavyweight Final Eliminator.

Fortitude Boxing’s Issac “Headsplitter” Hardman has successfully defended his International Brawling Championship Middleweight Title, defeating Mikey “The Samoan Warrior” Vaotuua by knockout in the third round on Wednesday night.

Fortitude Boxing will have two of its own stepping onto the international stage on Thursday, 31 July, with “Princess” Leah Reuben and Riley Allan both set to fight in Auckland, New Zealand on the BX-9 card at Eventfinda Stadium.

It is a massive opportunity for both fighters, with Leah taking on Saskia Elliott in the super bantamweight division and Riley moving into the prestigious semi-finals of the BX-9 Welterweight Championship. With both athletes representing Fortitude away from home, the entire gym will be behind them as they prepare for another big night of boxing.

Jake “The Machine” Wyllie is heading to Sydney for another major test, taking on Ben Smith on Saturday, 18 July at The Star, Sydney, as part of Wanderer Promotions VIII — The Rising.

Much improved middleweight boxer Laphya Reuben-Kawane won last Saturday night’s professional bout in style by knockout.

The 27-year-old Laphya beat opponent Brayden Rawlins on one of three pro bouts and 12 amateur contests during the Battle of the Port tournament at the Quayside Terminal in Townsville.

Laphya delivered a barrage of punches to Rawlins in the first round, which resulted in Rawlins corner threw the towel.
