Fortitude Fighters Head to New Zealand for Huge BX-9 Showdown
Fortitude Boxing will have two of its own stepping onto the international stage on Thursday, 31 July, with “Princess” Leah Reuben and Riley Allan both set to fight in Auckland, New Zealand on the BX-9 card at Eventfinda Stadium.
It is a massive opportunity for both fighters, with Leah taking on Saskia Elliott in the super bantamweight division and Riley moving into the prestigious semi-finals of the BX-9 Welterweight Championship. Laphya boxes a knockout performance
Much improved middleweight boxer Laphya Reuben-Kawane won last Saturday night’s professional bout in style by knockout.
The 27-year-old Laphya beat opponent Brayden Rawlins on one of three pro bouts and 12 amateur contests during the Battle of the Port tournament at the Quayside Terminal in Townsville.
Laphya delivered a barrage of punches to Rawlins in the first round, which resulted in Rawlins corner threw the towel.
