TRADIE FIGHT NIGHT LIGHTS UP FORTITUDE STADIUM
The iconic Fortitude Stadium came alive on Saturday night as Tradie Fight Night brought together tradies, pros, and passionate boxing fans for one of the most electric events of the year. The sold-out crowd packed the stands, cheering on fighters who’d spent the past ten weeks transforming from everyday workers into warriors under the Fortitude lights.
Tradies Step Up After 10 Weeks of Hard Work
After ten weeks of commitment, sweat, and sparring, the corporate tradie fighters delivered an incredible night of boxing. Each bout showcased the heart and resilience that define the Fortitude family.
One of the standout moments came from Christine Li, who scored a well-deserved victory in her debut bout. Known as “the hardest worker in the room,” Li’s relentless drive paid off as she crossed the ropes for the first time and walked away a winner, earning roars from the crowd and huge respect from her coaches.
Masters of Disaster Bring the Fire
Fortitude’s Masters of Disaster squad once again proved that age is no limit when it comes to fighting spirit.
“The masters team delivered spectacular fights and we are so proud of them,” the Fortitude staff said. “They show up every week, lead by example, and remind everyone that boxing is for life.”

Supporting MATES in Construction
One of the most meaningful parts of Tradie Fight Night was once again partnering with Mates in Construction, an organisation doing incredible work to support mental health and suicide prevention within the construction industry. The Fortitude community is proud to stand behind their mission — breaking down stigma, starting conversations, and reminding people that no one has to fight alone.
A huge thank you goes out to Lindy from Mates in Construction, who spoke with our fighters throughout their 10-week training journey, offering guidance, perspective, and a message that truly hit home. The connection between the boxing ring and the worksite runs deep — both require resilience, teamwork, and courage — and seeing our fighters embody that spirit is what makes this partnership so special.
We’re so grateful to everyone at Mates in Construction for their continued support and collaboration. Fortitude loves backing their cause, and we’re proud to keep fighting the good fight together.
Fortitude Family Fills the Stadium
“What it’s all about!”, the phrase echoed through the night as fighters, friends, and family came together to celebrate the sport and spirit of boxing. Every seat was filled, every cheer was loud, and every fighter left the ring with pride.
As the gloves came off and the music faded, one thing was clear — Tradie Fight Night 2025 was more than just a fight card. It was a celebration of courage, connection, and the unwavering Fortitude spirit.
