Young Guns 2 Delivers Big Wins, Big Energy and a New Australian Champion

Fortitude Young Guns 2 was a hit, bringing another huge afternoon of boxing, atmosphere and Fortitude spirit to The Tivoli Theatre on Sunday, the 14th of June. With a High Noon inspired theme, a packed crowd and a strong card of rising talent, the event was everything a Fortitude fight night should be: loud, exciting, competitive and full of heart.

The day was a celebration of the next generation of fighters coming through the ranks, with Fortitude athletes stepping into the ring and showing exactly why the gym continues to be known as the Home of Champions. From the first bell to the final decision, Young Guns 2 delivered a massive showcase of skill, toughness and community support.

Noah “The Grasshopper” Stevens gave it his all in his professional boxing debut against Cody “The Outlaw” Renouf. Taking on a tough opponent in his first pro outing, Noah showed plenty of heart and represented Fortitude with pride. Renouf came away with the win by KO/TKO in Round 2, but Noah’s courage, commitment and willingness to step into the ring on a big stage says everything about the fighter he is becoming.

Christopher “Irish” O’Reilly added another strong performance to the Fortitude card, defeating Patrick Clarke by unanimous decision over six rounds. Known for his pressure, toughness and fighting spirit, Chris showed control, composure and discipline across the distance. It was another proud result for a fighter who continues to represent Fortitude with grit and confidence.

Jimmie “2 Shoes” Phusomsai also delivered on the day, taking a unanimous decision win over Scottie Williams across six rounds. Jimmie brought his usual confidence, sharpness and work rate into the ring, continuing to build momentum as one of Fortitude’s most exciting fighters to watch. His performance showed patience, control and the kind of hunger that keeps him moving forward.

“Princess” Leah Reuben closed the Fortitude highlights with a huge moment, claiming the Australian Super Bantamweight Title with a unanimous decision win over Ali Jensen across eight rounds. Leah showed class, composure and heart from start to finish, earning a massive victory and another proud achievement for the Fortitude team. Her win was one of the standout moments of the event and a reminder that she is a serious force in Australian boxing.

Young Guns 2 was more than just a fight card. It was a reminder of what makes Fortitude Boxing special: the fighters, the coaches, the supporters and the energy that comes with everyone getting behind their own. Congratulations to Leah Reuben, Jimmie 2 Shoes, Christopher O’Reilly and every fighter who stepped into the ring. The future of Australian boxing is looking strong, and Fortitude is right in the middle of it.
