Conor Wallace Shines Under the Lights on Opetaia Undercard

Main support fighter, Conor Wallace (16-1, 11 KOs), an Irish-born boxer now based in Brisbane, delivered a composed and confident performance on June 8th, 2025, at the Convention Centre, Surfers Paradise. He defeated three-time world champion Frenchman kickboxer turned professional boxer, Dylan Colin (14-2, 4 KOs), by unanimous decision over twelve rounds. The judges scored the bout 77–75, 78–74, and 77–75, recognising Wallace’s clean work, control, and shot selection throughout the contest.

Currently ranked #2 in the world by the IBF at Light Heavyweight, Wallace entered the ring with purpose, walking out in orange, white, and green to an electric Gold Coast crowd. He backed it up with a polished performance, with his best work coming in the early and middle rounds. His footwork, timing, and clean left hands repeatedly landed before Dylan could mount an answer. Conor controlled the centre of the ring, dictated the pace, and forced Dylan onto the back foot.

The fight tightened slightly in the later rounds as Dylan looked to rally back, Conor remained composed, picking his shots and using slick head movement to avoid damage. He stayed a step ahead throughout, and the judges’ scorecards reflected his sustained control. Conor’s manager Stephen Deller has his sights firmly set on the world title.

Leading into the fight, Wallace made his intentions clear:

That preparation showed. His technical ability, footwork, and composure never wavered, affirming why he’s one of the most promising fighters in the division. His corner, led by renowned coach Greg Eadie and supported by Fortitude Boxing Gym’s Stephen Deller, have long believed in his potential.

“If he boxes to his ability there's no one who's going to beat him, because he's a very technical boxer, very smart, an intelligent mover when he's in the boxing ring.” - Stephen Deller via DAZN

With another win under his belt, a growing global ranking, and his daughter now cheering from the crowd, Conor Wallace is making serious moves both  in the ring and in life.
