FAQs

What if I am not fit/have never boxed before?

That’s fine - everyone starts their fitness journey in very different places, and we have had all sorts of fitness and skill levels on these programs in the past.

Short of extreme medical conditions, we can ensure the program is right for you.

Where is it?

Your training takes place at Fortitude Boxing gym (68 Abbortsford Road in Bowen Hills). The Fight Night event itself happens on April 23rd 2025 at the Fortitude Music Hall.

How many sessions are there and when are they?

There are dedicated program sessions Tuesday & Thursday nights and Saturday morning.

You will also have access to all of Fortitude Boxing’s regular classes includeed in your program.

What if I can’t attend every session?

We advise you to attend as many sessions as you can, however know this isn’t always possible. Missing the occasional session happens, but if you will be absent for a prolonged period (more than one week) you may want to consider additional training.

What if I don’t want to fight?

You certainly don’t have to, however we do ask that participants still meet the required sales figure for Fight Night tickets. It does help when you’re on the card!

What if I can’t sell enough tickets?

We are still subject to costs including gear, trainer wages, venue hire, food and drink & more.

To ensure we can raise appropriate funds we do ask all participants meet the minimum, or cover cost of unsold tickets. We’re in your corner and here to help if you have any concerns in doing this and will do what we can to support you.
