Fortitude Boxing's Conor Wallace Set for IBF Title Eliminator on October 3

Fortitude Boxing's Conor Wallace to Face Ben Whittaker in IBF Light Heavyweight Final Eliminator

Brisbane, Australia — Fortitude Boxing is proud to announce that Conor Wallace, IBF #2-ranked Light Heavyweight contender, is confirmed to face unbeaten Ben Whittaker in an IBF Light Heavyweight final eliminator on Saturday, October 3, at Utilita Arena in Birmingham, England. The bout will stream live on DAZN.

The winner of Whittaker vs. Wallace becomes the mandatory challenger for unified IBF champion Dmitry Bivol — placing Conor one win away from a shot at a world title.

Wallace (17-1, 12 KOs) brings the higher IBF ranking into the matchup, and will be looking to make history as the first fighter from our gym to challenge for a major world title. His opponent, 2020 Olympic silver medalist Whittaker (12-0-1, 9 KOs), enters unbeaten and on a run of four straight stoppage wins, most recently a two-round finish of Richard Rivera in June.

Conor has always trained with a world-class standard, and this is the moment that hard work has been building toward. Watching him step up for a shot at the IBF mandatory position is a huge moment for this gym and everyone who trains here.

Fortitude Boxing will share updates on training camp and how to watch the fight in the lead-up to October 3.
