MARIAH “THE GOLDEN GIRL” TURNER STRIKES GOLD IN MELBOURNE 🥊💛

Fortitude Boxing’s own Mariah “The Golden Girl” Turner has done it again, claiming the IBF International Featherweight Title with a dominant unanimous decision win over Stephanie Lee Cutting in Melbourne.

In a high-paced, technical battle, Turner proved why she’s one of Australia’s most exciting rising stars. Judges Ignatius Missailidis (99–91), Peter Hansen (96–94), and Martin O’Malley (98–92) all had it her way, a clear, convincing victory for the Brisbane talent.

It was a good tough fight,” Turner said after the fight. “I knew Stephanie would come forward aggressive, so it was the perfect chance to showcase my boxing skills, and we got the job done.

Known for her precision, composure, and crisp combinations, The Golden Girl mixed attack and defence perfectly, switching gears between front-foot pressure and slick counter-punching.

“Usually I like to box on the front foot, but I got to utilise what we’ve been working on. I’m getting more comfortable switching between the two.”

This was Turner’s sixth fight in just 12 months, proof of her relentless drive.

“I want to keep the momentum going, especially now with this belt. I’ve got a great team at Fortitude Boxing that’s helping me do exactly that.”

Mariah’s rise has been nothing short of spectacular.

Another belt. Another proud moment for Fortitude Boxing.

Congratulations to Mariah The Golden Girl Turner — IBF International Champion!
