Fight For A Cause

Fortitude Boxing's "Fight for a Cause" was a highly anticipated annual event that combined the thrill of boxing with a powerful commitment to philanthropy. On April 23, 2025, Fortitude Boxing presented the "Fight for a Cause – Wandering Warriors 2025" at the Fortitude Music Hall in Brisbane.

This event was more than just a fight night; it was the culmination of a 10-week transformative boxing program designed for everyday Australians, often with little to no prior boxing experience. Participants traded their daily routines for intensive training, guided by Fortitude Boxing's world-class trainers, to prepare for an amateur bout in front of a packed arena.

The primary goal of "Fight for a Cause" was to raise crucial funds and awareness for Wandering Warriors, a charity dedicated to supporting Australian veterans. Just days before ANZAC Day, the event provided a powerful platform for these "warriors" to step into the ring and "fight for those who'd fought for us."

Attendees experienced an unforgettable ANZAC Week event featuring thrilling professional and amateur bouts, alongside raffles and auctions, all contributing to the charitable cause. It was a black-tie gala where participants showcased their newfound skills, supported by friends, family, and colleagues, in an atmosphere of community spirit and unwavering support for a noble cause.

The night was headlined by Jake “The Machine” Wyllie and saw the Golden Girl Mariah Turner, Leah Reuben and Justin “Warhorse” Clements step into the ring in their respective fights.
