Originally born in Brisbane but raised in Cairns, Riley’s journey in boxing began at age 7, tagging along with his dad to the gym. Their shared passion led them through several clubs, starting at the PCYC in Cairns, then Kangaroos, then Sports World where he embraced old-school boxing values, before Riley joined Fortitude Boxing at the start of this year.
Driven to go pro, Riley left for Brisbane full-time. He had already reached the top levels through Sunstate amateur boxing, but he wanted more, more challenge, more stakes, more legacy. Along the way he collected numerous state titles, multiple Golden Gloves wins, three Australian titles, and several Australasian belts. He is known by his peers and fans as a respectful, honest, humble fighter.
In his professional career so far, Riley is undefeated with a 2–0–0 record. His most recent win came by unanimous decision over Laphya Reuben (40-34, 40-34, 40-34).
Riley’s style is grounded in tradition. Disciplined, aggressive when needed, but always controlled and self-aware. He shows up, he works hard, and he lets his performance speak louder than words.
“What’s next for me?” Riley says. “Whoever they tell me, whenever they tell me.”
With his humility, skills, and relentless drive, he’s ready for any fight, anytime.
