With over 10 years of experience at Fortitude Boxing Gym, Alexis 'Frenchy' Vaubien is a dedicated coach who specialises in training beginners, amateurs, and advanced fighters. He teaches strong boxing fundamentals and provides guidance during sparring and fights.
Alexis emphasises attention to detail in his coaching. He breaks down techniques and creates drills to facilitate understanding and maximise the learning process. His passion also lies in fitness, focusing on functional training, mobility, and body transformation. He helps his clients build strength, endurance, and overall fitness while ensuring proper form to prevent injuries.
Alexis offers a personalised approach to coaching, which includes fitness assessments, body measurements (if requested), and tracking progress and performance to ensure continuous improvement. He leads high-energy MetCon classes that combine conditioning, resistance, and cardio training with the goal of burning calories while building muscle and strength. Additionally, he runs adult sparring, boxfit, pads and combos, and peewee boxing classes.
Whether you're stepping into the ring for the first time or looking to enhance your skills or general fitness Alexis is dedicated to guiding you on your fitness and boxing journey. He is currently accepting new personal training clients, available for both individual sessions and groups of 2 to 20 people.
