General Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions govern the purchase of tickets, conditions of entry, and corporate hospitality packages for the boxing event held at The Tivoli, Brisbane, Australia.

1. Conditions of Entry & Attendance

  • Right of Refusal: The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry, refuse registration, or evict any person from the event/venue who is deemed objectionable, intoxicated, or whose conduct unreasonably interferes with the enjoyment of other patrons.

  • Prohibited Items: Patrons may not bring cameras, sound recording equipment, or outside alcoholic beverages into the venue. Alcohol may only be consumed as directed by the Promoter and venue staff.

  • Age Restrictions: Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

  • Compliance: All patrons must comply with the rules, regulations, and safety directives of the venue owner, manager, and local statutory authorities. Patrons will be held liable for any damage caused to the venue due to negligent or inadvertent acts.

2. Booking & Corporate Hospitality Terms

  • Booking Confirmation: Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of a written booking request and full payment. Following confirmation, the Seller will issue a confirmation notice and a tax invoice.

  • Catering Costs: The customer is solely responsible for all food and beverage catering costs associated with their corporate hospitality package. All food and beverages must be purchased through the Promoter’s designated caterer and cannot be brought into the venue from outside.

  • Fit-Outs & Equipment: Any additional fit-out requests for a Corporate Suite (including tables, chairs, or extra televisions) will be at the sole expense of the customer.

  • Seating Allocations: Each Corporate Hospitality Package receives a specific number of reserved stadium seats equal to the package capacity:

  • A 16-person corporate suite will be allocated 16 reserved seats immediately in front of the entertainment space.

  • A 10-person package will be allocated 10 seats in the grandstand/stadium area.

  • Parking: Onsite parking is not included in any of the Corporate Hospitality Packages unless explicitly stated otherwise.

  • Promotional Use: Tickets to this event cannot be used for advertising, promotions, or third-party resale without prior written permission from the Promoter.

3. Payment Terms

  • Due Dates: All payments must be finalized by the due date stipulated on the invoice.

  • Bank Transfers: If paying via direct bank transfer, the customer must include the bank transfer reference number to ensure the payment is accurately tracked and recorded.

  • Late Fees & Interest: The Promoter reserves the right to charge a default interest rate of 15% per annum from the due date until the actual date of payment for any outstanding balances.

  • Taxes: A Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 10% is applicable and payable in addition to the package price.

4. Cancellation, Refunds, & Postponements

  • Refund Policy: There are no exchanges or refunds on tickets or packages except as strictly required by law. Packages are non-refundable once booked.

  • Ticket Transfers: If a purchaser is unable to attend, another person may attend in their place, provided they hold a valid ticket/ticket transfer.

  • Administration Fees: In rare instances where a refund is authorized, the Promoter may retain a 10% administration fee of the total purchase price.

  • Event Changes: The Promoter reserves the right to add, withdraw, reschedule, or vary advertised programs, fight line-ups, and event formats.

  • Limitation of Liability: If the event is cancelled or postponed for any reason, neither the Promoter nor its agents will be held liable for any secondary costs incurred by the patron, including travel and accommodation expenses. It is highly recommended that patrons purchase appropriate travel insurance.

5. Force Majeure & COVID-19 Protocols

  • Force Majeure Event: Neither party will be held liable for a failure or delay in performing their obligations if it is rendered practically impossible due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to, COVID-19 or other pandemics, natural disasters, acts of God, terrorism, government directives, or quarantines.

  • Notification: Written notice of a party's failure or delay due to a Force Majeure event must be given to the other party no later than five (5) business days after the event commences, detailing the circumstances and mitigation steps.

  • Termination: If a Force Majeure event prevents performance for more than 30 business days, either party may terminate the agreement by providing 10 business days' written notice.

  • Health & Social Distancing Directives: Patrons acknowledge that the event layout, seating, and restrictions are subject to federal and state health directives. The Promoter reserves the right to modify seating, enforce social distancing, require face masks, or adjust the hospitality format to maintain compliance with government regulations.

6. Privacy Policy

  • Data Collection: Personal details provided during registration or ticket purchase will be used and shared by the Promoter and event partners.

  • Marketing Database: By registering for this event, you are automatically subscribed to our marketing database. If you wish to be removed or unsubscribe from future communications, you may do so at any time by notifying the Promoter or its partners in writing.
